Bolivian/Brazilian violinist Eduardo Paredes began his musical studies in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Aged 14 he received a scholarship from the Rotary Club that made it possible to study and live in the Netherlands Eduardo performs regularly as soloist and chamber musician and in orchestras, appearing in several countries of South America, Europe, South Africa and Asia, and having given recitals in venues such as Carnegie Hall (Weill recital hall 2008 and 2019) in New York and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw among others. He performs regularly with the Hydra String Quartet and pianotrio 258, with whom he recently recorded a Rachmaninoff album for Challenge records. He was prize winner of the World Debut auditions of the New York Concert Artists and at IBLA competition among others
