He was born in Brussels in 1989 and began studying violin at the age of 3. His first teachers were Leonid Kerbel, Leon Souroujon and Igor Oistrakh. In 1997 he made his debut at Carnegie Hall, in a Gala for the Rainforest Foundation, with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Viktoria Mullova and Martha Argerich. At the age of 12 he entered the Purcell School of Music (London) where he graduated with honors. His teachers were Maciej Rakowski and Evgeny Grach. As a soloist or chamber musician he played in prestigious stages such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, Buckingham Palace, the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Brussels Conservatory and Prague Castle. He frequently performs concerts with the trio he forms with his father Mischa and his sister Lily. He was privileged to receive the musical guidance of Julian Rachlin, Maxim Vengerov, Felix Andrievsky, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Vadim Gluzman, Eduard Grach, Kim Nam-Yun and Dmitri Sitkovetsky. He currently lives in Vienna where his teacher is Boris Kuschnir.
